Wolf Kampmann was born in 1962 und lives in Berlin since 1970. He grew up in the Eastern part of the city and studied sctientistic librarianship. After the wall came down he started to work as a freelance music journalist for several print, radio and later online media on the fields of pop, rock, jazz, electronic music and contemporary classical music. Apart from that he contributed to several CD productions, wrote a couple of novels and non fiction books, and is a lecturer for the history of jazz and pop and cultural journalism for several colleges.
