Jury 2023.

The jury is re-appointed every year and is comprised of members of the Berlin Music Commission’s Board of Trustees and external industry representatives. We would like to bring together people on the jury who have a good overview of the Berlin music industry in all its aspects. Criteria that we consider important for the selection of the jury include:

• different professional backgrounds, from which good
  knowledge of Berlin’s music industry or individual sub-sectors result (e.g.: Music journalists, label and artist managers, promoters, musicians, musicologists, festival curators,..);
• expertise on as many different music genres and scenes as possible; and
• heterogeneous realities and the inclusion of marginalized perspectives.
