As an intercultural music producer and activist, Mauricio Lizarazo Prada is dedicated to initiatives with social and environmental responsibility and in 2004 founded the music agency Pachamama Culture, which manages sustainable concerts and tours. Mauricio is working on the development of the Music C•A•R•E•S platform to track and offset the environmental impact of music events. A comprehensive database will be integrated into the platform, which, through continuous data management, will become the first point of contact for players in the music industry. Overall goals besides climate justice and equal opportunities are to increase the sustainability of music events and to achieve a cost-benefit optimization, for example by saving on compensation for a CO2 tax. Mauricio Lizarazo Prada holds a degree in business administration and a Master of Music Business from New York University.
