Mauricio Lizarazo Prada is the founder of Pachamama Culture (PC), a sustainability-oriented, international project with social responsibility that focuses on tour management, live music production and the promotion of bands and solo artists. He has organised and produced concert tours for Ohrbooten, Lola Marsh, Acollective, Attaque77, Nosoyo, among others. As an intercultural music producer & activist, Mauricio Lizarazo Prada is dedicated to initiatives with social and environmental responsibility. Mauricio holds a Dipl.-Betriebsw. & Master of Music Business from New York University. After graduating, he worked for BASF as a marketing product manager before founding the music agency PC. Mauricio is also the co-founder of ‘Salon de Baile’, for which he was responsible for programming, curating and hosting the Latin Alternative floor at Fusion Festival, and as a result became part of the festival’s production management team. Since then he has continuously toured and produced live shows for various bands internationally, focusing on sustainability & social responsibility. Mauricio is the spokesperson and coordinates the Sustainability Working Group of the Berlin Music Commission (BMC).
Mauricio has focused on climate and socio-economic justice in the music business through his work at PC and is currently developing a sustainability platform in the live music business called Music C-A-R-E-S, dedicated to promoting culture, independent artists and solidarity initiatives under fair and sustainable conditions.
