After a Master in Cultural Studies Peer worked in culture politics and sponsoring before starting as A&R at Berlin based Budde Music, one of Europe’s biggest indie music publishing companies. Since then he signed international writers and artists such as US rapper/producer Oddisee, Grammy nominated Brazilian superstars Liniker e os Caramelows, Swedish legends Mando Diao and Norwegian singer-songwriter Fay Wildhagen. As Director Creative Services his focus lies on the creative exchange and exploitation of high profile sub-published and administered catalogues, such as John Lennon, Dave Brubeck, Roy Orbison, Reservoir/Reverb, Downtown Music, Now Again, Jazzland or Mushroom. Peer is regular lecturer and podium guest to talk about the creative possibilities in publishing. Since 2020 he is a member of Music Norway’s Global Advisory Board. Since 2021 he is in the jury for the „Neustart Kultur“ scholarships in the intercultural music devision.
