Melanie Gollin is bored by most of music journalism these days. With more than 15 years of experience as a music journalist, editor, host and playlist curator, she has seen the music industry through various lenses and is yearning for more courage and imagination when it comes to covering music and the circumstances under which we’re making and consuming it these days. That’s why in 2021 she founded the music mail out ZWISCHEN ZWEI UND VIER where she and her colleagues test new formats, topics and compensation models related to popular music and the industry. Together with Martin Hommel she is currently working on the project WO IST HIER DER KRACH? which tries to answer the question why public radio in Germany lacks musical diversity and boldness.
