With a cheeky saying on her lips and a challenge in her eyes, Gloria Blau enters the stage – and mercilessly lays her heart at our feet. Her music moves between soul, pop and chanson, her words poetic and unerring. The themes range from lovesickness to social criticism, from self-destruction to self-love. At the moment she is singing about the mourning for her brother with songs as sad as they are comforting. From the very beginning Gloria takes her career into her own hands, her passion for music is clearly noticeable on and behind the stage. Three EPs, two German tours, various video shoots, awards, interviews and sold-out concerts later it becomes clear: something the 24-year-old is doing right.
