The artist Ferhat Türkoglu studied acting, started with his own music in 2005 and moved to Berlin a little later, where he was active in the Tanzfabrik, among other things. His music style is listed on Facebook as Urban Ethno-Pop. He dreams of a world without borders. As a courageous observer with an agenda and not afraid of breaking taboos, Ferhat, according to his own statement, brings “the mosque into Berghain” and likes to incorporate delicate political themes into his art. In 2019 the multi-talented artist won the European Songwriting Award for the title “Let Me Be”.
