When they met to spontaneously collaborate in a live session at the legendary Bar 25 in Berlin, the Dirty Honkers had no idea where the night would take them. Today the three Berlin artists are infamous for their high-octane live show, flooding the stage with a collage of jazz, blues, swing, catchy hooks and heavy electronic beats with the intention to push the envelope on the electro-swing genre. Their unique sound didn’t go unnoticed and quickly got the attention of record companies such as Wagram and Tower records leading to features on renown compilations in France, Germany, England and even Japan.
On stage the band uses an array of gaming controllers including a homemade joystick to turn each concert into a unique musical experience. Add to that two saxophones and you get a high energy concert full of tricks, sassy smooth vocals and jazzy sax licks. Since 2011 the charismatic trio is restlessly touring clubs and festivals all across Europe and beyond with concerts happening in New York, Moscow, Tel Aviv and Australia. In adition to they have played numerous events ranging from classy hotel openings to weddings and art galleries.
